MCC Kew knows staying fit and healthy is important, offering regular group and personal fitness, and yoga sessions. Caz Lorenz of MeTime training runs weekly Bootcamp, semi-private and private personal training sessions at the club. Lucy Broome from Yoga Rising and Mei Yin run 2 weekly Hatha Yoga sessions at the Club, focusing on strength, flexibility, balance, & coordination.

Enjoy group training sessions with Me Time Training in the most picturesque outdoor environment of the grounds at the MCC Kew Sports Club. You will find our qualified and committed trainers from Me Time Training really care about you and your goals. We have a reputation for delivering powerful results that transform our client’s day to day lives. This program is for the strong, the weak, the fit and the not so fit.

HIIT

High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT):
MeTime training offers a weekly High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) which is an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods
one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. The benefits of this type of exercise is:
– It keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time
– Speeds your metabolic rate translates into a metabolism boost for up to 48 hours after a complete HIIT routine
– Just one minute of high intensity work on an otherwise not-so-hard workout can boost your endurance and your overall health
– It’s great for your heart as HIIT increases the flexibility and elasticity of arteries and veins better than continuous aerobic exercise. Because of the increased pressure demand of HIIT, the vessels get a workout as well.

Metafit

Metafit is a high intensity workout including a series of body-weight exercises with interval style training. designed to keep your body burning calories long after your training session is complete. Designed by a former marine, this is a class you can be sure to push your limits in. The Metafit program is a 30 minute bodyweight program and is the latest that combines traditional bodyweight exercises with the latest HIIT training technique to set your metabolism on fire. It’s a workout that is adaptable for all fitness levels with work & rest intervals”

Boxing

At Me Time Training will ensure you learn to box with the correct technique. Learning to box correctly is essential and it will ensure you get the most out of every workout. Boxing is an all body workout. Strength & Core strength exercises are also included in these classes.

Yoga

MCC Kew yoga classes are open to all members and non MCC Kew members, with all levels of experience. The general philosophy of the classes is a gentle approach to building strength, flexibility, balance and coordination. The style taught can be described as gentle Vinyasa, which synchronises movement with breath, to achieve a flow of movement, with brief holding of postures to build strength and focus. You move within your level of comfort and get to develop a sense of space within your body and mind. You will also be guided through the poses and modifications. The MCC Kew yoga studio is a renovated, peaceful, calm and light filled sanctuary for your yoga practice.

Session fee

Casual or term based fee available

  • Term based payment ($150 for a 10 week term)
  • casual – non MCC Kew member $25 per class
  • casual  – MCC Kew member $20 per class
