MeTime Training’s HIIT Class at MCC

Classes run Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9.15am with Millie Braithwaite
MeTime training offers a weekly High Intensity Interval Training (HIIT) which is an exercise strategy alternating short periods of intense anaerobic exercise with less-intense recovery periods
one hundred percent effort through quick, intense bursts of exercise, followed by short, sometimes active, recovery periods. The benefits of this type of exercise is:
– It keeps your heart rate up and burns more fat in less time
– Speeds your metabolic rate translates into a metabolism boost for up to 48 hours after a complete HIIT routine
– Just one minute of high intensity work on an otherwise not-so-hard workout can boost your endurance and your overall health
– It’s great for your heart as HIIT increases the flexibility and elasticity of arteries and veins better than continuous aerobic exercise. Because of the increased pressure demand of HIIT, the vessels get a workout as well.
